This article describes Vonage business plans. As you know, Vonage is a leading VoIP service provider with solutions for businesses of all types and sizes. The cheapest plan starts at $19.99 per user, but volume discounts are available and all plans are highly scalable.
Vonage stands out for its attractive mobile interface, great features, and integration with third-party CRMs and other platforms. Live support is somewhat limited, but self-help resources are good. But before we discuss the Vonage Business Plans, here are some features available in the Vonage store. Let’s move on to the review.
Vonage Business Plans: the Best Prices Start at $19.99 per User
Features available with Vonage Business VoIP
Vonage lacks a few minor features in its cheaper Vonage Business plans, but has a lot in its premium and advanced plans.
1. Vonage Meeting
All Vonage VoIP plans include access to Vonage Business Plans Meetings video conferencing software. This is a great tool to facilitate large gatherings among team members. You can send out guest invites if you want, and there are screen sharing and meeting recording tools.
2. Integrated management tools
There is also an advanced management portal that is very useful for large companies. This allows you to manage all aspects of your phone system from a central hub, streamlining your overall operations. Additionally, the administration portal allows you to control permissions while viewing real-time activity associated with your account.
3. Business inbox
Vonage Business Plans Inbox is a separate add-on for $9.99/month, but worth considering. It allows you to collect SMS, MMS and Facebook Messenger conversations in one inbox so you can manage and reply to them efficiently.
4. Voicemail to email
Voicemail to Email tool, as the name suggests, transcribes any voicemail and sends it to the specified email address. MP3 recordings are also sent as attachments so you can listen to them and save them if you want.
5. Call recording
Vonage Business plans offers excellent call recording options. You can set the app to record all your calls or you can use Call Recorder to save the most important calls according to your needs. You can also record your company’s incoming and outgoing calls according to specific rules that you define.
6. Vonage Security and Reliability
Vonage Business plans claims it requires “multiple safeguards” to protect customer data. It does not state the exact steps it uses, but it demonstrates compliance and certifications from various bodies such as HITRUST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC. It also complies with GDPR regulations.
7. Vonage integration
Vonage Business Plans offers 20 integrations with various CRM and business applications. Business apps like Microsoft Teams and Surfly are available on all plans. However, to access CRM integrations like Bullhorn, G-Suite, Hubspot, Office 365, Salesforce, Sugar CRM, ZenDesk, and Zoho, you’ll need to upgrade to one of the two high-end plans.
Some Business Plans integrations are free, but many require an additional monthly fee. Connecting your application to Vonage is a simple process and does not require any special technical knowledge. Plus many customisable integrations.
8. Vonage application
Vonage offers advanced mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. It offers full-text, audio, and video calling, as well as team messaging, call forwarding, and many other tools. You can also sync your account across multiple devices.
The mobile interface is attractive and easy to navigate. There are many VoIP tools out there, but they are cleverly distributed throughout the app so it doesn’t get cluttered or confusing. Another important feature is the application center that allows you to integrate mobile VoIP with various other business and productivity applications.
9. Vonage Customer Support
Vonage offers live chat, phone, and email support. Email tickets can be viewed from the Administration Portal. Phone support is available Monday through Friday (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET) and Saturday through Sunday (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET).
Live chat is only accessible via the built-in chatbot and is very time consuming. At one point I wanted to ask a quick question about Vonage’s call recording feature. However, after more than an hour with no response, I had to give up.
On the plus side, there are plenty of self-help resources available in the Business Support Center. There are many articles and guides available, including a comprehensive “Getting Started” section and an extensive FAQ series. Additional information and a selection of training content can be found on the resources page of the main website.
Special vonage business plans and benefits
Vonage offers three unified communications plans ranging from $19.99 to $39.99 per user per month. Adding more users lowers the price per user, and special pricing applies to all plans over 100 users.
The cheapest cellular plan starts at $19.99/user/month and includes unlimited texting, calling, and access to the Vonage App Center. Premium plans (starting at $29.99/month) offer multi-level CRM and auto attendant integrations, while advanced subscriptions (starting at $39.99/month) offer call recording and visual voicemail.
Hardware phones and other products are available for purchase through the Vonage website. Various add-ons are available during the checkout process, including a toll-free number ($49.99 per month), voicemail transcription ($4.99 per month), and a call queue tool ($14.99 per month). You can also purchase premium support services if needed.
Unlimited minutes are subject to Vonage’s acceptable and reasonable use policy, which allows up to 3,000 minutes of outbound calls and 500 minutes of inbound calls per user per month. Features included at no additional charge include:
Custom Caller ID
And Many More
All the features listed above are also included with any plan from AVOXI. One notable advantage Vonage holds over AVOXI in this plan is their business SMS feature. AVOXI partners with a third-party SMS service to provide business texting to customers that require it, but we do not have it integrated with our service yet. AVOXI provides a lower cost-per-user at only $5 – $15 per user, depending on specific needs. In addition, AVOXI includes many features that Vonage Business charges add-on fees (as detailed below).
And we have finished explaining the vonage business plans. Are you interested in using this service? The price is quite affordable right? Let’s buy now!
